During the start of November, we honour all saints (Nov 1), and pray for souls of the dead (Nov 2). At the church, parishions write the names of their loved ones in the "book of remembrance", and we pray for them througout the month.
We keep in mind those who lost their lives, and those who have served, or who are serving to protect our country and keep peace in Canada and throughout the world. On November 10th, the Grade 2/3 class led our Remembrance Assembly & Mass to hounor Remembrance Day.
We also are learning about the virtue of peace. Peace helps us bring harmony in our lives and is something we are called to bring in the world. One way to bring peace in our school is to be accepting and kind to everyone in our school, just like Jesus would.
